M-audio isn't known for the highest quality. I can't comment on the venom. My axiom is pretty wicked, I have no complaints there, but I have an xponent thats been losing knobs since day 1. I'd suggest looking up reviews to see how tough it actually seems.

yeh people usually bash m-audio coz its not the highest build quality, always ferels a bit tacky, but i personally havnt had any problems with my midi keyboard oxygen... venom looks pretty sick imo, but then i havent got a clue abt hardware! would just love a synth where i could physically fidle with paramaters.

Ya same here. I have a yamaha mo and using hardware just has such a diff feel and the venom is like a hardware vst I can actually fiddle with knobs and can also be run as a vst in daws. Hmm I'll have to read reviews when it comes out
