I've recently been loving most 'dubstep' releases at these slightly slower and funkier tempos; tracks like Pearson Sound- Blanked/Blue Eyes, Girl Unit - IRL or Seiji - Buzzcut.
Anyone else know any similar tunes? I'm trying to refine my set to mostly this tempo before increasing to 140.
Juan Love!

not to be a dick but does 2-4 bpm make much of a difference? i never really notice unless it's like 130.

He has asked for 136-138 bangers.
If a couple of bpm didnt matter then we would include 140 bpm tracks...which is pretty much all of dubstep.
Footcrab is 140 isnt it?? (well the VIP is im pretty sure).
PS Check the tune in my sig. Its a 138 future garagey kinda thing.

fair enough but im just confused to why he would ask for 136-138 bangers. who cares, dont wanna kill the vibe.
joy orbsion - wet look is 136
mount kimbie - sketch on glass 135 (close enough)

i asked for those tempo'd tracks because that's the tempo that they sound the best at. Obviously tracks get pitched up a little in the mix with the energy of the set, but the tempo makes the track what it is.
Was just asking for new tracks like that (not old ones like sketch on glass) but current ones like those ddia suggested!

Fatherless is 128bpm, please don't do what Skream did on Rinse and bring the tune up to around 140. It sounds ridiculous.

how do you mix 130bpm-ish tunes like work them with 140bpm tracks?
