Alternative Acapellas

Post by Macktopus » Wed Jan 26, 2011 6:01 pm

yo! howdy all. I'm a long time browser, some time contributor (under many different alias' -t- ).

Recently I've been trying to find some acapellas from artists such as Little Dragon, Keep Shelly in Athens etc. but with no luck. I've searched the usual spots like Acapellas4u and so on, but to no avail. I'm just wondering if any of you guys know any other resources where I could find some or even suggest some similar artists who's acapellas might be easier to source. I'm looking for them abstract lyrics, melancholic vocals and positive vibe for the sake of some sonic experimentation.

With the artists being so alternative there will be less chance of an accapella existing.

You could try make your own. But it never yields great results.
