★ PYRAMID ★ (Funkatech Records)
---------------------------
Breakbeat/dubstep master producers and DJ/MC duo Pyramid make their Deathwish debut as our February headliners. We have been long term fans of this tune making outfit and are pleased to give them the platform they deserve. 2011 is set to be a massive year for Pyramid, we’re only pleased we got in there nice and early before they became too big for us.
Expect tearing breakbeat, squelching dub beats, 4x4 rancidness and energetic MCing, a show not to be missed.
Krafty Kuts support our view, recently commenting that Pyramid are one of the freshest acts on the scene right now, and Krafty Kuts doesn’t tend to get these things wrong!
Also featuring a LIVE PA from the amazing JULIE THOMPSON performing ‘Cruel’ on the night!
The delectable JT has leant her vocal stylings to and worked alongside the likes of The Freestylers, Tiesto, Fatboy Slim and now our boys, Pyramid.
We’re massively excited about adding a live element to the show, come down and jump about, it’s all going to be on film again, let us make you famous-ish.
--------------------
★ SKisM ★ (Never Say Die)
--------------------
A testament to Pyramid’s genre uniting tune, the SKisM remix has enjoyed over 360,000 views on youtube! A fitting figure to a man also having the year of his DJing life. SKisM is set to play all four corners of the globe in the next few months , all this whilst running the world famous ‘Never Say Die Records’, picking up 10,000 fans on Facebook, a nomination for best Mix at the Dubstep Forum awards and still finding the time to twist out seriously sick remixes for the likes of RackNRuin, Excision & Datsik and the Foreign Beggars. Quite the track record we’re sure you’ll all agree!
