Filthy Dubstep Wobbles
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good tutorial video or anything on making some good wobbles with Massive. I use Fl Studio and Massive and haven't really been able to quite figure out how to get the thick bassy wobble that artists like Datsik and Skrillex use. Any pointers?

There. Is. A. Sticky.
C'mon. the veeerrrryyy top, above the feedback threads, above everything else, is a 10 page mega thread about distorted bass. Cmon man.
And your question, is sooooo vague, you didnt ask for a specific sound, you asked how to make a whole subgenre of the music.

It seems to me the whole sub-genre is based on a specific sound.Aquathesis wrote: And your question, is sooooo vague, you didnt ask for a specific sound, you asked how to make a whole subgenre of the music.

Re: Filthy Dubstep Wobbles
Learning how one artist does it, allows the user to deconstruct the sound and see how it's done. This then allows them to build it up from the ground adding their owns touches a la creating their own "sound" - Imitating is "just learning" - if you don't ask, you won't learn.Nacklewicket wrote:why dont you try to develope the sound ur after urself. sure it will take time. but u will learn alot. and this way the end result ull have your own touch to it... howd you think datsik and excision came up with the sounds in the first place? asking on here on how to make a specific sound? dun think so bruv. just learn it instead!!

yes i fully respect this its a way of learning i agree on that.. not saying i know synths but if people wanna learn how to make da philth, just learn massive as a synth to see the whole picture, that way u can much easier create exactly what u want and understand what stuff does and why it does and so forth!! just encouraging to learn stuff and take time instead of rushing things.. as long as u keep making music everything will be just fine!Espy wrote:Learning how one artist does it, allows the user to deconstruct the sound and see how it's done.
