the bass is NIIICE!
right down there. :!:

I'm not sure about having that riddler/batman sample right the way through, maybe just grab some choice bits out.
It could be a little distracting.
the beat is nice, really nice pattern.
The only thing I would do is just toughen the drums up a little, maybe run them through something like psp saturator or vintage warmer, get a bit of warmth on them, and a little distortion.

really nice vibe though!

yes nice one.. the riddlerr.

maybe the high percussion a little softer so it integrates more in the (entire) tune?

Phat.

The only thing I don't like is the first delayed snare that is panned left. It really hurt my ear! (headphones) The percussion all fits well together, and I really like the narrative style intro. Bass is large.

Send me a copy to play on Sub FM..

I really like the snare sound, and the step of the tune.

I don't mean to be rude but this could be better.

Lacks dynamics, lazy programming, no decent melodic elements, boring structure. Take it back to studio and give it some love.

I'd try some crazy looped jazz-sounds and smoky atmospheres to color this up. Much more variation to the drums, more details. And ditch the arpegiator..

bze - no offence taken, the harshest critiques are often the best.

the intention was a skanky half step stoned out trip kinda thing.

i would agree with you on the detail required - have actually added a few new elements and variations since i bounced this version

many thanks for the feedback - i'm definitely gonna go back to this tune

big tune..like you said a few diff idea's rolled into one..

deffo need to sort out the delay on that clap noise that pans left but not right.some of the tabla/conga bits are doing the same I think??

as for overall sound quality I really cant tell with these naff speakers I got in work. lemme run it thru the studio and get back to ya
