So I've been making music for about a month electronically, 5 years or so in metal experience. Needless to say, this is a new thing for me. If anyone has some tips or feedback on this track, it would be greatly appreciated.

Needs effects, more filling, more things that bind everything together... stuff missing . Too repetitive, too little action, the drums feel to be a little off tone . The kick-drum is just kind of off-beat or awkward, i dont know how to explain... needs more work .
but i must say, i really like the elements between 2:50 and 3:10

I like the bass and synth after the drop. I agree that it could use more effects and a little more variation. over all i think it's got some great potential, keep it up.

your intro, each 8 or 16 measures maybe try introducing a new sound to the beat, to help keep the interest, be sneaky about it. you dont want your tunes to be predictable, you want the listener to feel the new sound. imo.

It's supposed to be off beat. I started making music with metal. I assure you that the kick is exactly where it should be and does make musical sense if you know what you're looking at. I thank you for the input anyways. Though I kind of like to go for a minimalist feel. I quite agree that atmospheric effects are important, but i think somewhere between what i'm going for and the standard lies potential.
