What we really love in Quikè's tunes is that they are
able to talk to the listeners, even without words: they
tell something different to each person, but for sure
they always communicate something.To us, for
instance, "Strange city funk" is about parties in dark
clubs, filled with sweat and happiness, while
"Bassfunker" speaks of traveling alone, by car, in a
rainy night.And what do they tell you?
QUIKE
Enrico Maraffini aka Quike, born in 1985, is a dj/producer completely dependent from house music. Working for several years and already author of several releases on Smoke City Music and Exprezoo Records, merges techno and house with different shades of deep, dub; instead in his live sets, he supports the concept of house in its purest form to techno.
After “La vie en rose” dated June 2009, second output of the Exprezoo’s catalog, proposed his version of “Din Da Da” released for Exprezoo Records last summer. During the Edit Festival his last selease, comes the second ep always with the label of the “train” with which shows a remarkable artistic growth that allowed him to earn a place in the suitcases of the best djs in the world.
