For Slime’s tenth release we return to the producer who delivered our second release, the man like Dekoy. It’s a testament to his skills that the ‘Lazerface’ EP still eludes classification in terms of genre a year on. In a world of ever-changing genre parameters, Dekoy is still operating way ahead of the curve and for his sophomore offering we get two incredible productions that will defy convention and demolish dancefloors everywhere.

'Turbogrime' is less a piece of music and more a weapon of mass destruction. Fusing the raw brutality of dubstep’s more robust sounds with the vitality of grime, the resulting concoction is then doused liberally with rave dynamics and lazer-guided melodies. When unleashed on a dance this will be cracking chestplates and snapping necks from 0-140BPM in 60 seconds.

'Kalemba' connects the dots between rave, bassline and Funky with incendiary results. A relentless groove is underpinned by a mammoth wall of bass which will blow soundsystems and clubbers brains out alike.

Junglist legend and lord of the rave Mulder steps in to tackle the remix of ‘Turbogrime’, stripping back the original to deliver a snarling, primal beast of a tune with a serious amount of bounce. Straddling the divide between 4/4 and dubstep this is a pure peak-time rave tune if ever there was one.

London bass warriors Pirate Soundsystem wrap up proceedings with a narcotic take on ‘Kalemba’, dancehall power strapped to pulsating polyrhythms that slowburn into a swirling crescendo that will be perfect for energizing dancefloors at 4am.
