Programing a synth

Im a beatboxer/live looper and Im programing my new MPK 25 to work like a duel oscillator analog synth, using operator in ableton, and to run it through my loop station of KP3's. Im curious to know which parameters in Operator you would assign to make the keyboard feel and respond like a synth.

OR would you guys sit down and program 8 (max) different presets of Operator with minimal controls assigned to each synth? Basically just assign like 3 parameters linked to knobs per synth to be able to kinda play with the sound. The switches would be used to jump in-between the active and inactive soft synths.

Which parameters of operator would you assign?
My MPK 25 has:
-12 knobs and 4 switches with 2 control banks (32 controls in total)
-12 pads with 4 pad banks
-pitch and mod wheels: can be assigned to something other that what they would normally do
-25 key keyboard

thanks for any comments!

Think this is too unique of a situation. You just have to do it the way that you need to do it.
