Hey all, I've recently started DJing and have a couple gigs coming up. I used traktor and my midi controller last time and it kind of sucked so I'm thinking about investing in an S4, anyone own one and can tell me if its worth it? I am thinking if I keep DJing it would pay for itself in the long run.
Would it be more worth it to grab Ableton and an APC? CDJ's are out of the question. Thoughts on the S4, or any other controllers out there of decent quality that can connect with Trkator?

Thats more expensive....I'm wondering if theres anything worth buying for less than 800-900

Kontrol X1 is way cheaper but I'd still much prefer to use decks than one of those if I was mixing(although I have mixed with just the Kontrol X1 before just to make sure it was possible)
