I know you may have some sort of attatchment to DSF but really now. Having this forum synonymous with Metalbassforum is not good.

you might have a fair point in terms of it being buried in another site. But as you've probably spotted this isn't a straight 'house' forum, that's a catchall term for several kinds of music which have grown out of what dubstep was a few years ago...without dubstep this music lacks a lot of its most salient reference points.

So I think it makes sense for the two to remain connected, at least in some way.

Sorry if considered debate wasn't what you were looking for.

dubstep came directly out of garage but it's not hanging off of garageforum.com.

so i agree, but still the problem is there's no name for all the new shizzle. remember this thread? and the resolution was the uber awkward and unsatisfying "120-140".

i don't think 120-140forum.com is gonna cut it.

totally can't tell people i listened to "music ranging from 120 to 140bpm" before it was cool. just doesn't roll off the tongue.

id like a whole new forum, but currently this little subforum is home for juke, witch house, techno, funky, garage, it would only work if u called it something awful like 'bass music' or 'post something'. would be cool tho, theres got to be some 808 heads etc that are making our sounds but wouldn't go near 'dubstep forum'
