Darkstar - Aidy's Girl's Voice

Was curious as to if anyone has any insight into the effects darkstar might've used for the vocal samples on Aidy's Girl is a Computer. Is it just a good filter and chopping up? I feel like theres more to it.

I heard they used one of them text2voice programmes. Don't quote me on that though.

While we're on the subject, has anyone here had much luck using vocoder VSTi's in FL Studio? Is it even possible, since you've somehow got to route in audio and midi through it?
