James Blake - debut - VINYL - bad pressing ?

just recieved the james blake LP yesterday.
it has a great artwork, is packed nicely and is pressed on thick vinyl, so it was a good first impression.
but when i played the first track it skipped and i had to adjust the weight on 3,5 gramm on the sl 1200.
thats okay, at least no use for a coin on the headshell. but the track limit to your love got an ugly, repeating noise in it. i dont mind if theres a bit of surface noise, but this is to much especially when the music works with so much "empty space".
anyone with the same experience ? or is this just one bad copy ? thanks
