FL studio 9 demo

Post by ilovedubs » Sun Feb 20, 2011 8:46 pm

I downloaded FL studio 9's demo a few months ago just to fool around with it and attempt to make a dubstep song, well it turns out its really entertaining and challenging to make dubstep. I was just wondering if someone could tell me is it possible to download presets (such as wasp xt) to use with the demo?

P.s, going to be buying fruity edition in a few days :D

It is possible but its better much better to learn to make your own, watch videos on youtube and look at the producers guide that is at the top of the production forum.

Oh and try not to aim to make dubstep, aim to make a song that reflects something unique about you, for example take influence from many different styles of music that you enjoy to make your own blend of sounds and techniques. This way you will stand out from everyone else :W:

but he wrote he found it very entertaining to write dubstep and fooling around with fl so let him
no need to stand out if you do something you like
some get to a point where they stand out "automatically" its kinda hard to go "yeah today im gonna write a tune that really stands out!!!" yeah well even more distant when ur just starting out producing..
if u stand out one day,it will come by itself

op, yes i think u can use any synth/preset in fl demo the only restriction in it is u cant export ur projects to mp3/wav/ogg/etc i thought?
dont listen to that drivel above, use any preset u want, its how many people start out. sooner or later ull see urself fiddling with the settings for the presets and even later ull find urself making ur own preset patches from scratch.

keep producing and having fun!! its what its about

I never told him not to write dubstep, read the post.
I never told him not to use presets either, i told he would learn more from learning how to make his own.

So apparently explaining to someone how to get a little creativity in there music rather than just use presets is drivel, got to love this forum at times. :u:

I would recommend checking out NI Massive.
Wasp is pretty basic, you'd be lucky to find many producers who use Wasp at a professional level.

Dont bother yet I reckon just put the extra cash towards the producer xxl version. Theres plenty of decent synths in there to get busy with. Also check out the FL studio thread if you havent already lots of good stuff in there.

Funniest thing about that is it don't take you to a link to buy massive.
