Rapping + Feedme by Cloudburn style dub = frustrating remix

Hello fellow dsf brothers, I'm currently working on dubstep remix that is causing massive frustration. I have a 16bar loop (drums) that I have been working with for like 20 hours now and I would like it to transform into something similar to cloudburn. My frustration stems from the fact or illusion that I don't think the vocal stems (mostly rapping and some singing) that were given to me are going to work for this style. Am I trippin or what? I think this because cloudburn has so much going on that rapping vocals would take away from the intricate bass. I don't want to start programming the basslines until I know for a fact that it will work.

BTW the vox stems are at 128bpm

Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Any suggestions? Should I just do a mimimal dub remix?

:u:

You have our permission to just do a minimal dub remix. You convinced me, certainly.

I thought I would have something to say. I opened the reply panel, read the original post a couple more times, but...

:corntard:

I'm out.

Here is the the og song where the vox came from. Maybe this can help you determine if it's possible.

HA! loopmonging. Yes I'm the the GOD of all loopmongers. I need to turn loop mode off or something. Why do we get stuck in these so called "loopmongs"? I think it is a downfall of a perfectionist. I tend to get a good loop going, and then try to mix the loop and spend 5 or so hours mixing it, then I get tired of the loop and end up frustrated and wanting to delete the whole damn thing, starting the whole process over again. I've been producing for over 12 years. It's weird, sometimes I can finish a song in 3 hours, some in weeks and some take months to finish. I don't get it.
