Gonna expand my software/hardware

Post by davyd » Tue Mar 01, 2011 8:13 pm

Hey!

I got some spare cash over (about 800$) and I would like some suggestions on what to buy (musical- equipment/software) I'm thinking of buying some waves products or NI Reaktor 5, but i'm not sure yet... All music pruduction related suggestions are welcome, everything from a jew's harp to a Monster Moog w/e (if its under 800 bucks ofc :6:)

Peace! :Q:

Wow you basically have everything you'd ever need software wise, maybe get proficient in those before dropping any more cash, more synths isn't always better. I don't think you mentioned having monitors, that's what i would recommend.

Two things will really improve your setup (from my perspective):

The Adams - once I got monitors it dramatically improved my music making... and

A Moog Slim Phatty - $799 so it fits your budget nicely, and gives you that deep analog sound to complement all those softsynths! Plus you already have the Duet (like I have) so you can capture it into your Mac.

Another option is the Doepfer Dark Energy - check it out on youtube. Also analog, like $600-something, and can get crazy!
