Baltimore is dead. Dub War is dead. i need a new place to take a vacation, ideas for a new home, and where booking possibilities are for when i care again. i'm not reaching, as a serious critic of music and mixing has already told me i'm "really good." i just haven't touched or bought anything in 3 months. help? thanks!

if you're looking for gigs, a city with a healthy, vibrant scene is not where you wanna be. everybody's gonna be established and territorial. if you just wanna rage though, ATX is a good place.
if you really want to dj though i say move to a college town that doesn't have much of a scene and build one.

LA and San Diego aren't too bad. There's Pure Filth (which despite the name, is not really a brostep night. Hosted the likes of Mala, Distance, NType, Kode9, etc)) and Smog LA (Skream, Hijak, Goldie on the 24th, past lineups include the likes of NType, Pinch, Plastician, Skream, Truth, Headhunter, MAH, Shackleton, Distance, Appleblim, Tes La Rok, and Joe Nice) as well as Low End Theory where you can often catch the Gaslamp Killer and Flying Lotus (and other Brainfeeder artists). San Diego's got Dead Technology with a few cool guys like Eshone and The P man (uk funky).

San Francisco has a pretty healthy scene too. Definitely got some brostep going on, but never really at a lack for good vibes once you know where to look.

i don't think the moon is a spaceship. i think the moon is a lens. it's only moving in 1 of the 4 dimensions we experience. it's not really moving.

yeah, i know. there will be no vacation this year. i'll just have to start saving up a few grand for a plane ticket and a week or two in the UK. facepalm for sure. maybe i'll have a vacation in 2012...

thanks for the recommendations to those that had them. i'm just going to get a few mixes together and scout the bars near Marshall and WVU. hopefully, i can find one with a safe area to put my table+gear and an owner that wants to have some 140 for an hour.

don't let spin-orbit-lock confuse you... the moon is moving in all four dimensions. in fact, because its orbiting the earth, it moves slightly more than we do in a year.

the moon is 1/400th the size of the earth, and it is 400 times closer to the earth than the sun. this makes it allign in the sky, so that from the human perspective they're not only the exact same size in the sky, but they pass right over each other. this alignment is considered the biggest coincidence in the universe. however if you remove the treadmill of time (4th dimension) from the equation, you'll see that moon is just sitting there.
