the ignoring your surroundings thing seems true. a frienemy of mine is traveling around asia with an ipad and the amount of shitty almost hourly updates to facebook/twitter/emails/blog makes me think its all just done to show off.

Always wanted to slap one out of someones hand when they walk past on the tube. They shouldn't be so cocky, surprised there isn't more in the metro about people getting them stolen.

My dad has cardiomyopathy and his ipad is like a second limb to him, he'd be lost with out it. Probably one of the most empowering gadgets you can buy for a terminally convalescent person.

I have to agree that Brooker is getting very boring. He just comes across like more and more of a prat every time I see him on TV. Used to really enjoy his guardian articles and he does raise some good points but his "character" is wearing very thin now, he's become a parody of himself.

All this "Go away" at the end of shows etc....yawn
