Problems with MASSIVE

Post by alexolmer » Sat Mar 05, 2011 10:48 pm

Whatsup everyone. I've been trying to figure
out this problem for a while.

I use MASSIVE in Ableton, and everytime I re-open
Massive in a new MIDI track it screws up the tone on the
previous track. Does anyone else have this problem,
or have a solution to fix this? It gets pretty annoying having
to go back and mod all my sounds back to the way i like them
again.

Maybe you are not adding another VST slot and using the Massive from the last midi track?

Never come across that problem.

Certain versions ( Legality of copy) may not keep the setting you had it at.

I need to get my hands on a legal copy of massive, but don't have the cash flow to shell out $200. Are there any good websites to buy/trade software from other users? I'm a fan of KVRaudio.com

any others?

This problem only occurs when i use massive. Not with any of the other VST's,
hence why i posted this directed at massive.

Not to be a dick, but there's a ton of really decent programs for way cheaper than that/freeware you can use. I've always found a bug free workflow with freeware to be much superior to constantly trying to make programs work, but to each their own.

My software literally works perfectly except for this one fault.
I don't regret saving hundreds of dollars at all, who would? ha

Oh I don't know, maybe the developers of the software you are stealing?

Cracks don't go down too well round here mate, if you are using, keep it schtum. Not many people on here do have 'money pouring out a their ass', but they paid for their software legit.

Not about to expect your programs to work properly then.

I don't understand how people think they have the right to complain about software when they've not paid for it!
That's like stealing a car and then complaining about how comfy the seats are. Spastic.

For a while, I was stingy about buying software, but then I realized that I had spent over $3000 on bass equipment so play in bands that never went anywhere and just ended up breaking up. I spent all that money because it was something I loved doing and I wanted to be able to do it well. You can't pirate a Rickenbacker, so I had to shell out the bones. Might as well spend a couple hundo some software to be able to do shit I love without having to worry about weird problems caused by cracks.

Also, Komplete is a fucking amazing deal and if you buy it through sweetwater, or American Musical Supply, you can pay for it in 3 payments of $166 a month, which is pretty negligible in the scheme of things.
