Yes. Bipolar type 2, bordering on 1. Never been a problem, apart from my unsociability. I can go months without leaving the house, but then turn into Mr.Sociable and never turn off. Things just seem to balance out and I've learnt to live with it. I just wish it was diagnosed during childhood, or my youth.

my friend was bipolar. killed himself cos he didnt want to end up like his dad.

I used to be unipolar and social phobic
But I'm ok now!

I get the same but I just put it down to borderline misanthropy

Unipolar is just normal depression. I used to take seroxat (which is what paxil is called in the uk) and it was quite good. Now I'm taking efexor, which is a bit stronger, and it's helped a lot. Going to uni and making new friends probably helped as well
