owie gotta boom boom (major chords)
So I know this mixdown sucks. Any suggestions on how I can mix it down better will be appreciated. How do the synths sound?
Thanks!

Sounds really nice to me, but then again my ear is quite untrained. I thought the synth was really nice, love the gritty sound.

I liked the melody. Read some articles. This is what I do: Wherever I boost frequencies with an eq I do it by 3 (usually) and then in another sound that conflicts I will minus the same frequency with an eq by 3. Today I also read that it's better to take away frequencies than to boost them but I haven't tried this yet.

I've added a little more length / breakdown to it. I'd like to add/remove elements to keep it interesting. Any other suggestions?

cut everything out of the kick below 75 hz ish to leave enough room for the sub with no clash. Do the same if the snare is hitting under 75 (which it usually shouldnt be) peak the snare at around 200 hz to punch through the mix. For your midrange bass, again you can cut out under 75 hz so your sub can come thorugh nicely. These are just a couple of tips but in all honestly ive heard much worse mixdowns. And saying 75 hz is a guestimation, depends at what frequency you want the bottom end to start crossing over the sub. Also if you cut out the sub freqs on the kick then you may want to compress it to get the punch you would want. Im no expert, but i hope i helped a bit with your mixing.
P.S subtractive eq is almost always better than additive, any time you would need to boost a frequency you could just cut the frequency of the thing making it need a boost if you know what i mean
