Anyone here use soundcloud a lot?
Seems the done thing now rather than myspace for putting tunes out, has anyone on here paid for the upgrade? Seems can push it on group pages and more features to get more listeners- is it worth it?

I've got the
lite upgrade and i have to say it's totally worth 29€/year.
being able to post your tunes in more than one group will boost the amount of listeners you get considerably. you can compare the advantages yourself...i'm definetely gonna renew my premium acount for another year.

I swear you used to be able to post a tune in more than one group without having to pay.

You could, then they stopped it. Who knows why?!
The best feature is the fact you can replace Audio in the ones youve already got uploaded if you do a better mixdown etc.

I might go for it then, cheaper than getting dubplates cut to hand out but a bit against paying for these things on principle but guess its all about the internet promotion nowadays.

I'd just buy some space on a web server personally. Soundcloud is ok, but its not like you can hotlink to shit or upload a 2GB .zip file.

That's not the same though really is it. That's like saying what's the point in facebook when I can just upload all my photos and personal info to mediafire and email everyone I know a link.

I just got lite and it's pretty winrar, extra 2 hours upload time or something like that and some new stats, stats aren't amazing but considering how many tunes I upload the extra space is worth the money
