			Soundcloud
A big progressive/melodic dubstep tune. Work in progress because I'm going to add another drop, some little background glitchy stuff here and there, and someone is going to sing the melody of the organ coming in at :17 instead of it.
But listen, let me know what you think, and if you have any little production tips for improvement please let me know!

bump means bring it to the top of the forum so it can be noticed. also the video game noise (the melody pre/after the drop) is going to be replaced with someone singing the song rather than that noise. i make more melodic and flowy and progressive dubstep with catchy melodies not super grimy dubstep. i'm attempting to retain more of the musical side of dubstep rather than purely percussive. i meant what kind of production tips would add to the full effect? like what levels need to be raised or lowered and stuff? i've been doing production for 2 months while i've been studying music theory and whatnot for nearly 14 years.. so i'm looking for some professional production aid

your song sounds good to me man.. like.. im not sure what advice i could offer you, without stepping into your personal preferences.. id say texturize your synths more.. they are all pretty glassy and smooth, give them more character.. overdrives.. phasers.. envelopes, lfo's. whatever to thicken them and add depth. what music theory advice do you have for any of my songs.. if u have any let me know! because i have absoleutly no musical education!

Dude you are killin' the melody. If you have someone (read hot chick) sing the melody that would be sweet. I think you definitely need some cooler sounding synths. What you have right now sounds like it came from my girlfriend's Yamaha PSR-170, and that's not good. Your melody is rockin' though keep up the good work.

thanks for the advice guys! i'd be happy to give you some advice on your songs.
the synth in the melody is still a bit corny BUT it's on purpose, it contrasts the heaviness of the drop and i think it gives it more of a wow effect. but i changed a lot up, refixed levels and wobbles and the drops, and spent a good amount of time mastering the track as well as checking everything to make it perfect (imo)
the new song is in my sig, let me know what you think!!
