It would be fair to say that Tactus' Amputation Party EP represents some of his finest work, and some of the best tunes to be released on ABAGA Records.
The eponymous title track kicks the EP of growling and screaming with a true Tactus classic. Amputation Party is an abrasive assault on the senses with a sense of humour.
Track 2, Flamjonkles, is one of Tactus' finest, personifying everything that is skanky, harsh and subby in dubstep. In this EP Tactus keeps the tone danceable throughout.
The EP culminates in the deeper, more subtle Shit Weasel. Shit Weasel and the other tracks on the Amputation Party EP display an approach to producing dance music that is unique in the world of dubstep.
