Massive Dubstep!

Post by bigfootspartan » Fri Mar 18, 2011 5:34 am

Just browsing Soundcloud and I came upon this... No wonder Massive gets the rep it does :cornlol: . Heavy originals only! Some decent tunes (Chewie has a badass one there), but the premise made me laugh a bit.

I like Massive, I'm not saying I don't but I think people automatically jump to Massive thinking that all in-software synths are complete crap but that simply isn't true. I work with Ableton and Operator is wonderful, I honestly like it better than Massive. I do like massive though and those are some quality tunes :-)

There are! I was impressed by a few. I just had a laugh when they said "heavy originals made with NI Massive only." Next thing you know there'll be a "brutal electro" dubstep group out there aha.

Same here
Nah but seriously i still use massive she's like the dirty slag in the studio, still gets used and abused especially for bass although the 2nd bassline in that tracks from the TI.
The Virus has it's own group aswell you should start slinging your tracks in that too ;)

That Crackle & Kromly - Pineapple Surprise track at the bottom of the 6th page is pretty dope. :)

Massive is my second choice after Absynth. I guess I'm a Native Instruments bitch (I obviously like Reaktor as well).
