got it in the mail today (bought without previewing - prob a mistake) and was hoping for some oldskool darkside dubstep brimming with the atmosphercis and swung garage beats that i used to love back in 06.

i thought it was goign to be a four tet remix on the b side but i read wrong and both tunes sound like house music to me TBH

maybe he will ahve some new old skool stuff on the new kode 9 album

dunno just seems a bit linear and lacking punch to be a real club tune.

ah and my bro picks up his turntables next week so look out for a mix from me (iv only got the one stanton belt drive deck at the moment so been practising betmatchign to mp3s from my stereo lol!!!

Uhh I'm sorry, I might sound like an arse... but are you actually familiar with Burial? Or did you just bought the plate to go with the hype?

The reason why I ask this is because you're saying the tune lacks punch to be a club tune... I don't think any1 has ever played a Burial tune in a club, atleast I never heard one. Burial's tunes arent meant to be played in clubs in the first place.
I like both tunes tbh.

What a load of bollocks! Burial is weighty on a proper system, you don't know what you're talking about! I've even heard Chef of all people drop Burial at a night and it was my highlight of his whole set!

Have you actually listened to the bassline on Untrue? You can't tell me that isn't made for a rig. Second drop is brutality.
