After a while of taking a step back and running some low key parties for the heads City Bass is back in full force for a new monthly at Buffalo Bar.
We're kicking things off proper with Altered Natives aka Danny Native to bless your eardrums with a 2 hour set plus Clare James bringing some Backroom vibes to the party!

Danny known for his unique style of broken house cut his teeth on londons broken beat/bruk scenes releasing his first 12" back in 2005.
Best known for the massive UK funky anthem 'Rass out' released in 2009 and featured on both Martyns Fabric 50 mix and Marcus Nastys Rinse 10 mix. He's had a string of releases since then, most notably his incredible remix of Ikonikas 'Idiot' for Hyperdub and his single for Martyns label 3024 'The Bitch/Crop Duster' showcasing his bruk house sound which got caned by dj's like Bok Bok, Kode 9, Jackmaster and Martyn.
More recently he released the stunning No Mortgage EP on italian house label Bosconi showing his diversity as a producer with a much more straight deep house sound.
He's also prolific and has released two essential albums in the last 12 months on his own Eye4Eye label. The first being Tenement Yard Volume One which was rated as number 9 in FACT mags top albums of 2010 and the follow up Serial Vendetta. The first two Tenement Yard samplers are out on ltd vinyl now!
Within the Altered Natives sound you can hear echoes of detroit and chicago but its the distinctly british roughness in his tunes that really sets him apart, in his own words "Life and the world in general is restricted by so many rules, I've spent my life breaking rules and paying. So really you could say my sound is the sound of rule breaking."

The City Bass fam will be on rotation all night playing an eclectic selection of beats and bass orientated sounds...
