This has happened to me before so I know the pain. Unfortunately it was legit corrupted and my only option was to just start over. The lesson I learned from the experience: Save a new version of your project file every few changes so that in case you have to rollback to an earlier version it wont be as painful. Sorry man. :(

Ahh this happened to me!! I was soooo gutted but I just had see if I could remake it from scratch. You'll be suprised though, when you get going things will come back to you as you go along.

Also,
Look in your 'recent items' folder within FL, it will give you loads of clues and reminders. :]

I had this happen to me as well. Only once. No way to get it back up but I had saved my bassline and melody scores so I at least had that. In the end the remade version was a lot better than what I had before.

It's a longshot but have you recently installed adobe flash pro on your system, they use the same file extension.

This has happened to me way too many times. I've never found a method to recover them though. Once they're corrupt they're as good as gone :i:

This has worked for the couple of times I've needed it.

The tool didn't work for me. It looked like it was going to but then corrupted again while stretching an audio file. It was something about that particular audio file that kept corrupting it. I've never had to use it since though, so maybe it will actually work.

recently got a corrupted file but on Ableton Live, not FL Studio. I'm not sure if you will find this helpful, but anyway.

I got too many vsts in that file and it was already using up a lot of memory, but it was still working. the next day i couldn't open it as it crashes the whole OS everytime it was opened. i copied the file to a different machine. this time i can open it, but any attempt to save/export will still crash it. in the end, i just created new audio tracks and internally record each individual tracks.
