01. Birds and Booze
What can I say? It's an awesome track! You must have known I was going to say this, as I have uploaded it earlier this week. The first time I around I didn't even notice the sample is playing from the first second on. I was already feeling it then, and even when I noticed the track grew on me. Another thing that is really interesting about the sample is if you pause the track and let it start from Booze instead of Birds, it actually sounds like the sample goes "And Booze and Birds", which gives a whole different atmosphere I think. Big bass at the very end!
02. Just the Booze Talking
I think the chilled out beat and the mad voice-sounding synth work really well together. Bare in mind that I have never been drunk in my life. For all I knows this tune is what loops in your head when you've had too much to drink. I'm pleased to say this track keeps me interested throughout the entire 6 and a half minute, every time I listen.
03. Booze and Pills
The tune kicks in really well right after the sample. DumdumdumdumGO! I can't think of anything else to say about it though.
04. White Out Dub
Out of all of your tracks that end with Dub (this is actually only the third as far as I remember) this is definitely my favourite. It has loads of bass in it and reminds me of Asphalt Jungle, which is a great track as well. This one has just the perfect chilled out vibe eventhough the effect sounds (don't know what they're called in producerterms) are pitched pretty highly. If what I just said doesn't make too much sense, it's propably the Birds and Booze talking.
05. Without The Darkness
Good track and great sample. You made it work really well with what you produced. Brought at a higher pace than most of your tracks. A solid ending to another great Robbing Hood EP.
