EMALKAY – FABRICATION / Massive
Dub Police #052

Image

Truly one of the shining lights here at Dub Police, Emalkay has gone from strength to strength in the past couple of years, cementing his place among the greats of modern UK bass producers out there right now.

After bursting onto the scene back in 2008 with Critical Hit, he has been slowly forging a unique and forward thinking sound of his own. It’s a sound which is based on a dubstep template we have all grown to love, but a sound which draws influences from and pays tribute to the time honoured traditions of the past; you only have to listen to his most recent pulverising club-smasher Crusader, to know what we mean there.
There is also something very striking and different about the sonics of Emalkay, an attention to detail in his production that too often is overlooked, in the ever changing, fast paced industry we find ourselves in today.

Dub Police present the latest release from one of the biggest members of its family, a release of real character that was crafted for the UK underground.

You can grab this fantastic release from any of the online stores below…

iTunes
7 Digital
HMV Digital
Boomkat (12” Vinyl)

You can also keep up to date with Emalkay at his Facebook and Twitter pages.

Also be sure to head down to FABRIC on April 22nd for the Dub Police residency and Emalkay’s Album Launch Party, featuring some of the biggest talent in the scene.

Whats up with the digital files? i bought wavs and the wave files visually look like they couldn't be more compressed if u tried. I played with someone a week or so back who played this, the guy had grabbed it off a file share site....his 320 kbps file looked perfect, i wait for the release, actually buy the thing and my wavs look like compressed shit. what gives?
