If we dissolve the Monarchy, what will we be U....?

I love in hope that one day Britain's monarchy will be dissolved.
But what will the United Kingdom be called?
Perhaps the government thinks getting rid of the monarchy IS a good idea and all they need is a new name.
So what would the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland become?
Any ideas?

I never got the whole anti-monarchy thing. Unless im missing something (and if i am, please do fill me in) but are there not a million things out there more worth while of caring about?

Yeh we're just waiting for all the old biddys to die off so that the voting majority becomes un-bothered by the monarchy. eg my granny has an entire toilet dedicated to the royal family. flags, pics of the queen, royal wedding and coronation memoribilia, newspaper clippings... bit scary

Its pretty much for them reasons it wont happen any time soon.
We wouldnt have to change your name though would we? Great Britian, England, Scotland, ireland, Wales.

well we can't be united kingdom anymore because there'll be no kingship. and i'm amazed we're still allowed to call ourselves great britain considering how obscenely and self-mutiliatingly politically correct we now are.

I don't like the monarchy as it reflects a time when many were concerned about breeding, hierarchy, and status.
What does it mean? Being born into a fanily and being told you're prince or whatever, they don't represent the British people. Not with the queen's hubby saying don't spend to long in Eat Asia or you'll go slitty eyed.
Nowadays they just seem like another kind of celebrity. Famous for nothing.
And whats more they cost the British taxpayer money, Yes that big wad of tax taken from your wages goes to having the royal family fly round the world 1st class.

Yes we might because Great Britain doesn't include Northern Ireland

It's the Kingdom part we wouldn't have in the name anymore not the United part.
