Guys, that's my yoi, I feel it's lacking something but I'm not really sure what it's lacking...just feels empty...

Anyone have any ideas on what I should do with it? I use Reason 5 and I'm not too advanced...or good so don't use too many complicated words, I'll do my best to research it if I don't know what it means though.

ah dont worry ill explain the patch here

1) open up maelstrom and initialize the patch (by right click on the device it should say initialize patch)

2) oscillator a is going to be a square 16 with motion turned all the way down and your index at :32 and go one octave down. it will say octave 3

3)turn OSC B on (click little box next to OSC B) and make it a square and were done with the OSC.

4) turn on every box before the filter and this is going to route the sound to go to the shaper and filter b and filter a.

5) in the shaper turn it to quant mode and put the value at 64 and for filter b make it a lp12 with no resonance and a value of 49 for the actual cutoff. Also click env button on. Dont routefilter b to the shaper ( little box in between filter b and shaper) For filter a make it a bp12 with env and kbd on and make the resonance at 42 and the cutoff at 46. \

6) now for the modulators. the things on top. in MOD B only turn your vol to 45 and your filter to 46.

Bam now your done with the maelstrom now for the important part to make your sound yoii



7) add a scream 4 distortion and your going to use the digital distortion setting. this is mostly the closest thing to a bitcrusher in reason.

make the damage control 21 and for the two knobs at the bottom ( P1 and P2) change the P1 to 1:48 and P2 to 2:63. now with P2 if you change it around slighty you can get different pitches in yois but you can do this by playing up octaves and down octaves.

9) turn your cut on in the middle of the scream4 and make your low - 10 mid 14 and your hi's 35

10) turn the body on and make the reso knob 26 scale knob 66 auto 0 and keep it at type a




now your yoiiiiiiiiiiiiing

edit: to get the meat of the sound without it sounding like crap play the keys between c1 and c2 in your piano roll and play with the lfo settings like the shapes to make the sound different

heres a workaround that may work. when the thing pops up as blocked, go to the url and change it from http:// to https:// and maybe it will work
