Really don't like the piano, either the sound or the tune it's playing. If you want a song driven by a piano melody the only real option is to record or sample someone who's actually good at it- trying to write a melody with midi or play one yourself when you aren't any good at the piano is just going to sound bad.

is that good? cause it was accidental, i just copied the drum midi clip and pasted it into the bass channel....

Guy before me worded it in kind of a harsh way but to be honest he's kinda right, piano really doesn't sound great, if you want to introduce piano into your productions it would be a good idea to listen to some solo piano pieces and learn about how those guys write for it and play it, Thomas Newman writes a lot of piano parts for film scores he's a great place to start, alternative like the other guy said, just sample or get somebody else to write a piano part for you. Ignoring the piano the rest of the tune is pretty solid, decent bass sounds, nice drums, and overall the production is pretty solid.

I agree with whats been stated already... the mixing and compression are good, but that piano does not carry the track. The only reason I wanted to comment on this is cus im in a similiar position. I have no training on the piano, but I use it often and by carefully listening to each chord over and over I manage to make it work to the point that you would think I played piano well. It just sounds like you didnt put your work in on the piano track, if you take some more time with it and turn some of those single notes into dissident chords you could really have something nice. Just as an example check out this track im working on... You inspired me to make a change on it... I really like the way you used compression and delay on the paino in your song and Im gonna incorporate some of that into this.

Dont take the comments too hard... You've got the ingredients you just need to put them together a little more thoughtfully
