Dubstep at summer festivals

Post by PERCEPT » Tue Apr 05, 2011 1:19 pm

Looking at getting to a dance festival with a few mates in the summer, but a lot of the larger ones don't look great. I don't know much about festivals so i'm probably missing loads, any decent UK festivals this summer? Most of my mates enjoy dubstep but aren't into the 'scene' and are more into EDM in general, so a mixture but with some decent artists for the more dubstep group would be grand.

Depends how old you and your mates are.

SW4 will be decent, and Outlook festival will be nang, but that's in Croatia though.

We're all around 21. And yeah we spoke about Outlook, money and transport etc seems like too much though.

Glade, Moor Music, Bestival, Big Chill?

Never been to any of them, just remember their line ups being bit more varied than bass music.

Big Chill always has some decent dubstep and loads of other stuff too, truly is something for everyone there.

Fuckers haven't announced the lineup yet though.

SW4 has a nice varied line-up usually and pretty decent. Looking to possibly go Big Chill as that seems like a good mix usually....they need to hurry up and announce the line-up tho!!

The Big chill has been bought out by Festival Republic and judging by last year will be a bit more bass orientated in future . As well as possibly mysteriously featuring random America Country stars (Phil Vassar) that just happen to be in the country. (!?)
