Logic 8 Plugin Delay Comp not working on busses?

Anyone else had trouble with Logic creating latency on busses? This is happening even if those busses don't have any plug-ins on them! Only happens occasionally but is totally fucking annoying. Arghhhhhhhhhhhh. Please tell me someone has noticed this and figured out how to fix it.

Yeah, but it's usually when I add a CPU intensive plug in while the track is playing - a quick start and stop sorts it out for me.

Nah this happens when bouncing and playing.
I managed to fix it in this particular project today by finding that one particular audio track that was routed to the bus was causing the entire bus to delay. Even when that audio track had all plug ins disabled (which were native plug ins anwyway). Weird. Just created a new track and copied the audio over and it worked. Go figure.
