The early 2000 House !

Post by NickUndercover » Wed Apr 13, 2011 11:58 am

Okay so I've done a research and haven't found anything about this but... Just how funky was the music we used to hear on the radio towards end 90s, early 00s ?? I'd like to share some of these gems as I found back a few 12"s and am looking for some more

Here was my nostalgia moment :D

Well I'm belgian so that might explain it... What did you use to hear on the radio ? Garage ? I thought that sound was more spread than France & wallonie

You didn't have garage/grime on TV and the radio in the late '90s/early '00s? It was all over the place over here. So Solid, More Fire, Artful Dodger.... As was French house (to a higher degree) for that matter.

I remember well Garage on the radio, from the likes of So Solid etc. Don't have that much of memories about tho as I was only like 7-8. French house let a way stronger imprint cause it was fucking everywhere, I was hearing this tune all day long, from the cars when I was riding my bike etc

tune brings me back to that whole MJ Cole Sincere Era right before two-step imploded on itself.
