sounds reasonably slick, personally im not sure the beasties accapella really fits and i don't really like that strings sound you get on alot of grime, but thats just me. as grime productions go the instrumental is probably at the standard of most of that 100 grime instrumentals promo set thing.

ah! thank u 4 ur honesty, i think ur right about the standard grime sounds, to be honoust i think it was fun to get those sounds, maybe even a lil better from scrap without ever havin made a grime track.

about them beasties; i didnt have any grime mc acapellas, so i tried it, and maybe its something really different one has to get used to in this tune, but i do think it kinda fits but everyone to his own right? thanx for leaving ur comment.

... you dont need some random vocal to make it grime guys, this would've been alright as an inst. ... except then you'd notice those strings more ... btw I've never heard a grime riddim with strings like these, and I buy alot of grime ... the drums & bass are ok but you need some "proper" sounds really. You use abelton yeah ?

I like the track as is,
but I'd also love to hear it without the beastie vocals
and with the strings more upfront.

I'd get rid of the low kicksound layered under the snare, and put another snare there as reinforcement. I like the strings, but I'd replace them later in the track with a sharp synth playing the same melody, building up with filters, to give the track more progression and hype.

I like the instrumental, although the intergalactic acapella i'm afraid not. although the basis of having good rhyming over the top would fit... if you know what I mean.
