Crunk Records is set to jump off in Spring 2011 releasing CR001 featuring 24K with “Beat Machine”. Run out of 24K Studios in Hollywood, Crunk Records sound is buck-wild Dubstep and party music at large. This digital label is the seismic creation of Los Angeles based producers Nature and Clay Steele. Set to bring the party, Crunk Records is dedicated to releasing artists that innovate the emerging sound of bass music.
This first release features LA production team 24K with “Beat Machine” a heavyweight dance floor smasher. Kicking the song off are warm atmospheric pads, glittery panned bleeps that meld light percussion and sprinkled synths with the sound of air rushing through distant skyscrapers. Crispy drums and a filtering vocal that swell up from beneath the mix keeps things moving before cutting out to make room for a sonically beautiful vocal hook from Nature. This banger then builds into a crescendo providing a platform for a devastating drop and distorted bass that sounds like analog robots being ground into shards. A second drop with an emotive romping bass melody completes this Dubstep workout and highlights 24K’s stylish production.
Coming from the LA underground, these two are no strangers to the stage and are known for their clean production style and epic DJ sets that feature original tunes as well as top notch track selection from multiple genres of bass driven music. 24K’s distinctive brand delivers a cocktail of naughty bass and dance floor antics that hype any party. This team has been busy in the studio and are set to tear through sound systems worldwide.
