I was thinking of doing some 4X4 dubstep and incorporating some kind of electro synth into the deal (that sweeping stuff you hear in all the MSTRKRFT, Para One stuff.) but hten I sat down in front of my computer and ableton and ablino, and found out i had NO idea how to go around modelling such a sound.

any help would be appreicated

FM-synthesis(native instrument FM8 for example) if you mean electro



If you are rather talking about electroclash or anything like that then any vsti emulating subtractive synthesis would probably do.

if your talking about straight electro, then just some basic waveforms, overdriven, can give you a nice thick, warm electro sound.
