Resampling question

Post by jrisreal » Sat Apr 16, 2011 7:56 pm

I already know how to resample in FL Studio and that's not what I'm asking. My question is whether or not I can save the waveform into the actual FLP file instead of having to have a .wav saved to my harddrive? Can it be done?
...in my opinion

file -> export -> zipped .FLP

Haven't used FL10, but that's how it was in one of the older versions i've used, so i'm sure nothings changed.

oh, so i can save it as a zipped flp instead of a regular flp and all the waveforms that I have in the sampler and things will all be there if I send the flp for a collab?

I don't understand. Why not use the WAV?

Make a folder of just the exports that you do. This also builds your own, individual bank of samples to build from and use.

does FL save each project in a folder somewhere in your HD with all audio files used seperately? I know Logic does that and it has a seperate folder for any Bounces I have done. if not there should be an export loop or section option on FL so you can bounce parts then just stick em in a folder and .zip it yourself.

from what i recall fl doesnt...

not like logic, which creates a copy of any file u drag in and is stored in the 'bin'.

in the versions of fl i used to use.. whenever u moved a sound from ur drive... it went red on the step seq (channel name box).. and u had to relocate it...

but that was like version 7

the answer ha sbeen given earlier tho i think... really.. there are various ways of exporting stuff in fl... so that the file can be sent and used from another computer.. in an independant fashion.
