Hey guys, got a bit of an issue with sound in FL9. I have just been making a simple drum beat in FL and started to build on it when suddenly my sound has gone completely dead and silent. I re-opened the project and exactly the same thing happened. What is strange is that if I open any other projects the sound is completely fine and perfect.
Please get back to me, any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

upgrade to 10...
if you bought FL you get free upgrades so take advantage of it...and it will probably fix your issue.
if you are using a cracked version then thats what you get for not buying a legit copy

It's a legit copy but I don't see why I should have to upgrade to fix a problem with one of my projects when clearly there isn't an issue with the actual program itself due to other projects playing out fine. I just need help on getting this track to play out with sound.

why not upgrade though? like i said it will prob fix your issue... i would have been all over that shit the second it came out.
im not too familiar with FL as i use reason but my friend had FL 8 and never upgraded to 9, then he went straight to 10 and said its like no different. just added some nice features, better workflow, and smoother interface...so i dont see a reason in why you wouldnt upgrade unless you dont have a legit cawpy.
just sayin if i were you i would get the upgrade which might fix your problem and kill 1 bird with 2 stones

maybe one of your effects clipped and muted the whole output. Usually you would see the meter being in red and all the way up but have no sound. You could try turning the effects off one at a time and see if thats it.

Check your mixer and your channels and everything that could possibly mute it. Some vsts like the soft clipper will mute your sound until you press the unmute button on the interface, which is rather stupid. If thats not the problem replace the drum sounds and samples you used because sometimes a sample will become corrupt and "fuck shit up", per se.

Also check your automation in events, if you are using them.
Unexpected shit happened me all the time and in the end it was something simple which i have overlooked.
