+ Jazzsteppa +

In December 2006, an old torn down Jazz club in East Berlin was transformed into a two week mini festival of Jazz and electronic experimentation. Jazz musicians, producers and Dj’s from all over Europe came to take part in the project which would later evolve to form Jazzsteppa. The hosts of the event: Gal Bar-Adon & Gal Moore, both jazz musicians, found a growing fascination in the world of sound experimentation and electronic music. Together with German sound fanatic “Katalyze!”, Jazzsteppa created their early sound, merging elements of Dubstep, D&B, Hard-Bop and Dancehall into a bass-heavy club sound that has been rocking festivals around Europe of late. Live, they come with drums, trombone, electronics, laptop, mic – to mash up the club. http://jazzsteppa.co.uk/

+ Capitol 1212 ft. MC Serocee +

Capitol 1212 are Professor Fresh and Fly-T. Hailing from Edinburgh, UK, the Scottish duo have established a glowing international reputation for their sure fire production skills, developing a unique style and sound that’s all about the here and now but with a sly nod and wink to block parties of days gone by. Responsible for some of the biggest and best party hip hop and dancehall records to be released in recent years, it’s little wonder Capitol 1212 have found themselves in demand with some of the most respected vocalists out there – Jungle Brothers to Ugly Duckling to name two. For this show they have invited #1 MC Serocee to ride the beats. Known best as Toddla T’s sometime collaborator, he has also worked with Basment Jaxx and MJ Cole recently, and supported many top hip-hop names. Put simply so, he’s one of the finest party MC you could hope to see in front of you on stage.
