What are the stupidest, most irritating things you've heard or seen an mc do or say?

Most of them are stupid and irritating.

track was building up to the drop:
MC: " This track is now building to the drop!" (no shit sherlock...)

at the drop
" YEAH IT DROPPED! " << NO SHIT SHERLOCK!? D:

after the drop:
"blablablablablabla" < didnt listen cause he ruined the drop and whole set for me right at the drop earlier. Actually, I went away from the party that night lol.

some mc mumbling on top of a neurofunk set, totally ruining the mood with his sizzurp-meets-"i have swallowed the mic" delivery. on top of that he didnt even look at the crowd just stood somewhere behind the dj slightly nodding his head to the music looking like he was caught in a time-space-anomaly that made everything around him slower.

Yeah basically everything, but worst is the "I say x, you say y" stuff. Dub/step and drum/bass being the worst offenders.

there's great mc's tho. a jungle set without a raspy voiced jamaican shouting double time patois on top wouldn't be the same.

I don't get annoyed so much at what they say, but when they say it. One of the most annoying things is when I'm listening to a radio show and the dj decides to have a conversation over the mic while the song is playing. Even more so when it's an upcoming release and someone from the label brings the track in, and the dj decides that while the song is playing it's time to do an interview and ask a bunch of nonsense questions I could careless about.

has it ever occurred to you that they talk over these tracks so people can't just record them off the radio?

radio shows are rubbish without people talking on them- id just listen to studio mixes if i wanted only tunes

i dunno who it is.. but Caspa's gig was what I referred with the wheeling frenzy
honestly, if you wheel 12 tunes in a set, there's obv nothing special about any of them or yourself as a DJ

at nights out it's all about crowd interaction, and i don't mean cheesy "I SAY X YOU SAY Y", the rastaman mc i mentioned above really knew how to work the crowd, it's as if the dj set was just the canvas for his words. also the feeling you get when photek's complex gets dropped, you raise your lighter and the mc smiles at you, does the same and suddenly there's a sea of waving lights.... :w

On a Badman sound VIP video on YouTube, right before the drop the mc goes "RAPE IT UP... BRRRRAP!"
