How to make my wobbles interesting in ableton?

Im wondering how to make my dubstep wobbles interesting in ableton live 8. I dont have a midi keyboard and am quite annoyed as i have a good wobble but it just sounds boring. Im following this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcMtxpUAKcQ at about 4:00 minutes,but i dont know how to do it without a midi controller/keyboard. Can anyone help please?

You can start by automating your LFO rate with another LFO, using a square wave as the LFO, then set it to 1 bar ( 1/1 ), so that you have alternating wobble rates every bar. Alternatively, set the rate to non-sync (turn the sync button off), and control it manually via automation (my preferred method). Best way to find out is to practise
