For example on beatport if there is a collab between two artists who gets paid? Is it split 50/50? And what about remixes do the artists have tocget persmission to sell a remix. And who geta paid in that situation?

standard contract for a release comprising physical & digital

label - 50% of net profits
artist(s) - 50% of net profits i.e. if there are 2+ artists they will split this 50% equally between them

remixes are usually supplied for a one-off fee which is included in the costs which have to be covered before any revenue can be considered profit, along with things like mastering, manufacturing etc. Once the remix is complete and has been paid for, the remixer doesn't usually get anything further unless it's been agreed.
