Hey guys, this is my first forum post.
I've been making dubstep for a year now, and I find me admonishing myself for all the things I still don't know. The one thing I have always wanted to know was how to make the high pitch lead thingy that you hear in a lot of songs. Here is an example http://youtu.be/oZkzcm7ubQg
I get close but no dice. If anyone knows, please let me know. Appreciate it.

The thread right below this one is dedicated to helping each other make specific sounds
This might help though. I think Flux Pavilion and Doctor P make the exact same bass lines right?

I was about to post "typical chad" but then I saw that it wasn't a chad thread...
DID YOU REALLY FUCKING POST SWEET SHOP?????
Also did you get what you wanted out of that vid? I feel like I'm obligated to make you a massive patch for chatting shit in your thread like this so... if you didn't....

I got some new tricks from the video, but nit exactly what I wanted. I found a sweet shop lead tut on YouTube and figured out how to get that formant sound, but it was still to gassy, so I dabbled around a bit.
Haha, sweet shop was the perfect example. But I'll check out your preset for massive, study it, and take it from there. Thanks
Read the thread, got no where. But screwing with the formant on the osc and screwing with the plugin a bit more, I got closer results. Thanks for everyones help.

Flux pavilions bass is kinda like a bitcrushed/distorted Doctor P bass.
