logic automation

hello there long time no speak

does any one here know how to copt and paste track automation on logic ..ie lfo rates . i get a nice rift ,wobble going on then i have to apply the same automation every 16 bars THIS CANT BE RIGHT !!!! i need to know how to copy and past me automation

Press V to get into the automation mode

Hold down the Shift key to select the shit you want to copy

Hold down the option key and click within that area - drag it to where you want it to be

At least, that's how it works with my system, your key commands might be different...

interesting. i usually set the track to midi and record the automation. i then merge the regions into one and loop. d'you get me?

that works if you're recording automation over a midi part, but if you want to copy automation from one region to another, DougD's is the way to go.
