Pretty much all the 'deeper' basses are just standard Squares/Saws with low-cut LFO freq modulation, that's if they wobble at all.

A sine with a small bit of distortion will do a simple but deep bassline. Then set up some automation to make it wobble and some other automation to make it stand out.

clean deep sub wobble:
Sytrus>default>take down to 0.5> fast lp> edit events---cut off----lfo---edit events draw that wobble.

I actually got like 10 wobble bass presets from a friend back when I used to use sytrus im not sure where he got them from though. I would say ditch sytrus and get something else if you want an effective deep bass heavy sound

I posted 2 video tutorials on sytrus on my youtube channel not long ago... the 2nd vid is a better bass patch IMO though.

I would have to disagree haha, I do love sytrus and yes it is very versatile but I don't use it for bass to much, just personal preference.

yeah im all fine for people having opinions, but saying that sytrus isnt effective for deep heavy bass is just plain wrong lol
i made this bass solely in sytrus, no FX, nothin
Soundcloud
and that was a while ago too, my 2nd or 3rd time using FM

There's nothing wrong with presets IMO, if you want have fun making some music go right ahead, presets or not. Maybe the OP should post a sample of the type of thing they're after?
If you don't want to spend ages working out how Sytrus works you could export a long held C note from a preset you like, and then load it back in as a sample and use the FL Sample LFO instead, it's a bit easier. Or you could draw in your wobbles into filter cutoff automaton or edit events window .
For deeper wobbles what often works for me is have an LFO on a full sound, and turn down the envelope so that the LFO is wobbling around 300 hz or even a bit lower. This will get you a deeper sound.
BUT
be careful with using Filter-cutoff LFOs with sub, because the resonance (controlled by Q knob) could almost blow your monitors if you're not careful. I usually use a Volume LFO for subby wobbles.
If you're into frequency splitting you can use a LP filter for you mids and highs, and a Volume LFO for the sub, but that's getting more comlicated.
