(note. not dig at skream here)
after hearing that redbull gave Skream an engraved ipad2 it seems like a piss take that Channel One have not even received their cup for winning the culture clash. I wonder if the clash had been won by artists who have a chart presence and more youthful whether this would have happened. Perhaps they do not feel there are as many possible revenue streams or marketing opportunities to exploit from UK dub veterans Channel One.
I can't even see an post event video anywhere.
Where is the Redbull endorsement Channel one victory tour?
Remember. Red bull don't give a shit about the music - they just care about product placement.

Eventhough I don't quite understand what you're talking about... Probably because I don't live in the UK and therefore have missed out on it.
But I have always wondered what the fuck Red Bull had to do with anything and why they suddenly seem to be part of every fucking thing there is on this planet.
In my opinion, the only good thing coming from red bull are the train wreck mixes and thats it.
Though I admit that I probably don't even know half of what's going on at red bull, just my personal opinion

I was under the assumption that red bull just sponsored the RBMA and didn't actually run it? Just the money men?
Like how Coca Cola don't run the football league...

That doesn't necessarily mean they run it, just that they poured a lot of money into it.
Our Danish football league used to be called, among others, Faxe Kondi Ligaen (named after a big soda company), for example. Just meant they sponsored it big time. I think this is the same thing.
Edit: Wikipedia says:
The RBMA was co-founded by Many Ameri, Christopher Romberg and Torsten Schmidt, who run a consultancy company called Yadastar. In 1997, energy boosting beverage manufacturer Red Bull approached Yadastar about implementing some method of fostering discourse about underground dance culture. (

the RBMA is situated in the same officebuilding as Red Bull administration on Tooley Street, located near London Bridge tube... RBMA is indeed a part of Red Bulls marketing initiative - a good one of its kind if you ask me.

Those RBMA lectures are hilarious. You can see them asking the artist to drunk their can of red bull even though they are happy with drinking water, and they zoom in on the red bull cans and the guys drinking them. It's so bloody obvious.

As the TC said, Skream, this thread was not intended to be a dig against you. Ofcourse we all understand that you get certain things every now and then for doing work for them. It wasn't about that.

My point was that Channel One should have received what's rightfully theirs. They won. Do you think they would have been so slow in response if you had won, skream? as I said, not bad minding you at all bro. bless
